Furthermore, there is no need to pass a date range for ScheduledProcedureStepStartDate; a single date (e.g. the current one) is sufficient. Instead of the following code lines char szDate[256]; SYSTEMTIME tLocalTime; GetLocalTime(&tLocalTime); sprintf_s(szDate, 256, "%04u%02u%02u", tLo...

The state transitions can be found in part 8 of the DICOM standard: http://dicom.nema.org/medical/dicom/cur ... 9.2.3.html

What is the debug/trace output before and after the lines you've cited.

You could also disable the macro definition (temporarily) when including DCMTK header files:

Code:
#pragma push_macro("_UNICODE")
#undef _UNICODE

#include "dcmtk/dcmdata/dctk.h"

#pragma pop_macro("_UNICODE")

dcmj2pnm creates a a rendered output of the DICOM image (in various formats). The output pixel values are always unsigned, i.e. not in Hounsfield Units.

Calling chooseRepresentation() with e.g. EXS_LittleEndianExplicit decompresses the entire pixel data of the dataset, so you should call getUncompressedFrame() only, which does exactly what you want.

Make sure that the macro UNICODE or _UNICODE is not defined when including a DCMTK header file.

As you can read in the INSTALL file, compiling with UNICODE defined is not supported (in fact, it never was): DCMTK does not compile when UNICODE or _UNICODE is defined because the VisualStudio compiler then uses the Unicode version instead of the ANSI version for all Windows API functions (i.e. typ...

Regarding "oflimits.h", you should consider the following patch: http://git.dcmtk.org/?p=dcmtk.git;a=com ... 2b741dc01b

Regarding the other issue(s): are you compiling with UNICODE or _UNICODE defined?

Note: dcmcjpeg +e1 with a Float Parametric Map instance as input file returns an output file with JPEG Lossless Transfer Syntax but with identical file size/content as the import file.. This seems to be a bug in the DCMTK. According to PS3.5 Section 8.2: Pixel Data conveyed in the Float Pixel Data ...

Did you make sure that the program "dcmprscu" is in the search path (or current directory) or whatever is configured to be the "Spooler" program in the config file. The warning message says that the spooler program (i.e. dcmprscu) could not be started.

The only "workaround" I can see would be to modify the source code of storescp accordingly (check whether the corresponding directory already exists and recreate it if needed each time a new DICOM object is received).

I checked the source code of "storescp": If the directory is deleted while storescp is running, it is not re-created (unless a different patient is sent in between).

Also the error message ("E: 0006:042d profile key undefined: DEFAULT") could be clearer, i.e. when the default profile is empty.

I checked the classes: DcmSCP does provide a C-ECHO handler but does not add the Verification SOP Class to the (default) list of accepted Presentation Contexts; this is different from the DcmStorageSCP class, which is derived from DcmSCP and which accepts the Verification SOP Class by default. Excer...
