Dear Shahvez,

can you try this with the latest DCMTK release 3.6.2?
If this still is an issue there, then I'll have to investigate it.

Thanks for letting me know,
Michael

Hi Gerd, All three posted transfer syntaxes are uncompressed. So per default DcmSCU (as well as the storescp by the way) only send uncompressed. Since DcmSCU in the MOVE scenario only sends the C-MOVE Request (which does not contain pixel data at at all), nothing else makes any sense. The PACS, that...

Hi, You need the size of the dataset being transferred beforehand, however, that size is never explicitly sent by the Storage SCU. Actually, using undefined length encoding and / or compressed Pixel Data with empty offset table the sender may not even know or compute that size beforehand but encodes...

Hi,

you are missing libcharls, the actual JPEG-LS implementation used by and shipped with DCMTK. Thus add "-lcharls" to the list of libraries.

Best regards,
Michael

Hi,

use the dcm2pnm (or dcmj2pnm) tool to extract all frames and save them to BMP (for example). Option +Fa selects all frames.

In order to do the same thing in your own code, look at how it is done in dcm2pnm.

Best,
Michael

Hi,

I have no idea what happens, sorry...
Can you try a current version of DCMTK? Otherwise I would have to rebuild your version.

Best,
Michael

Hi, which version of DCMTK (findscu and wlmscpfs) are you using? Best, Michael [Edit] I could not reproduce this with a current DCMTK (3.6.2), also I am not aware of an earlier bug triggering this behavior. As a side note: Why are you sending QueryRetrieveLevel? It is no meaningful attribute for Wor...

Hi Christos, sorry for late response, I did not have the chance yet to lookup the system information for the Mac Mini but it seems it is not required any more. If you find something what we should do on our side of the CMake toolchain to make XCode bugs easier, just let us know! Best regards, Michael

Scanning over your code it seems you are generally doing the right thing; I did not check each value though. Whenever *I* create DICOM objects, I check them with a DICOM checker tool first. I can recommend dciodvfy from David Clunie for this task. It finds out whether you are setting all values requ...

Hi Christos, thanks for the valuable feedback. This has not been reported so far, and on our Mac (we just have an old Mac Mini to test on Mac ourselves) this does not show up either. It seems that this is a CMake issue, since we do not set or influence CMAKE_OSX_SYSROOT in our CMake scripts at all. ...

Hi,

No, you're imagination should be right ;)
Did you use dcmdump to check the content after you ran dcmodify?
Did you try running your dcmodify command from the commandline instead to find out if something goes wrong in general?

Best,
Michael

Then there should be an error, i.e exception. Note that a.dcm should be in the working directory, ie. normally the directory where you run the stuff. I would try the following: ⋅  Verify that the command works on your file from the command line directly. ⋅  Try giving the full pa...

Hi, does the second parameter of ProcessBuilder really take the executable again, i.e. maybe it's: Process process = new ProcessBuilder("C:\\Users\\Public\\Documents\\dcmodify.exe", "-i \"(0010,0010)= Mike\" a.dcm").start(); Best, Michael

Hi, DCMKT has a fork mode that starts a new process whenever an association is coming in. The parent process gets initially notified by the network layer that there is a new incoming association waiting. The parent then starts a new child process that handles that association on its own and the pare...
