Re: binary distribution for mac.

Correct me if I am wrong, I chose static because I thought I would not have to worry about the executables location in the systems PATH nor any other environment variables that would have to be set such that the application would be able to find it's libraries. Hence I chose static.
Cheers.

Re: binary distribution for mac.

I tried using dcm2xml without any issues.
Does that prove that it is a staticly linked executable?

binary distribution for mac.

I just downloaded this file: ftp://dicom.offis.de/pub/dicom/offis/software/dcmtk/dcmtk360/bin/dcmtk-3.6.0-mac-i686-static.tar.bz2 The web site says its a staticly linked library... When I extract dcmtk-3.6.0-mac-i686-static.tar.bz2 I get: dcmtk-3.6.0-mac-i686-dynamic bin etc include lib share Am I c...

Which interface?

I'm not sure how to specify which ethernet interface / ip address will be used to form an out going association with storescu.
If my host computer has more than one IP address and my pacs expects my aet to be on a specific ip address.. how do I tell storescu which ethernet interface to use?

What happens if (a question about storescu)

If the files I have on disk are stored in a transfer syntax other than the negotiated transfer syntax what happens?
Does storescu know how to transcode from on storage syntax to the negotiated transfer syntax?
Does it require that you know the storage syntax of the files on disk?

Re: Custom Association Request?

Hence my question.
Is there a way to build a custom association request and send a data set from the command line?

Custom Association Request?

I want to do a C-MOVE with movescu but with custom presentation contexts.
How do I specify the SOP class and transfer syntax for the C-MOVE request?
The server supports 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.2.4.2 Composite Instance Root Retrieve – MOVE

Re: What tools to build on windows?

On Windows, it's usually: Configure, Generate, Build All. I didn't see a build all button, but that makes sense because I needed MS Visual Studio. Maybe if I had succeeded in getting gcc installed on windows things might have been easier. Would cygwin have helped? For findscu, movescu, getscu, you ...

Re: What tools to build on windows?

Does this look like a normal result from cmake configure? Is there something I should select other the that three selections that have been selected for me? I'm only trying to get findscu, movescu, getscu to run... Not sure I need libtiff, png etc... :? http://members.shaw.ca/BrianOBrien/realbasic/c...
