dcmp2pgm - support for Graphic types

#1 Post by Dacian Pitic »

I would like to know if dcmp2pgm has support for Graphic objects and text objects rendering.
When am trying it, the Graphic objects and also the text objects are not rendered, however in verbose mode I see that it recognizes them all.

The text objects I have are using an anchor point instead of a bounding box. Is this a the problem?

From the dcm2pgm.cc's history I see:
* Revision 1.2 1998/12/14 16:10:24 meichel
* Implemented Presentation State interface for graphic layers,
* text and graphic annotations, presentation LUTs.

Since DicomScope supports them, is there another command line utility I could possibly use?

Thanks,
Dacian

dcmp2pgm does not apply all aspects of a GSPS to the associated image. This is because some portions of the GSPS are done by the Java layer of DICOMscope (e.g. graphical and textual annotations).
