Association rejected with findscu

#1 Post by jalexander »

This is the error I'm getting:

I: Requesting Association
E: Association Rejected:
E: Result: Rejected Permanent, Source: Service User
E: Reason: No Reason
E: 0006:0301 DUL Association Rejected

This is my command:

findscu -v -P -k 0010,0020=99999999 -aet DOSE_RPT_SRV1 remote_host remote_port

I'm trying to determine what the problem here is, I'm assuming it's related to AE_title, but I can't determine if I'm being rejected on the server for the AE_title I'm passing.

According to the DICOM standard, a permanent rejection means authorization failure (i.e. you are not allowed to establish association). May be you need to register your AE title in the server. You can specify your AE_Title using the option -aet which is by default (FINDSCU) and use the option -aec to specify the remote server AE title.

Hello all,

I am having this exact same problem. Did you manage to solve it?

I have written a program that supports storscu on Windows. Then I had to compile the same program on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04). After switching to Ubuntu, even though all of the IP configuration, port and AETitle are the same, while sending data to a workstation I am having this exact same error message. On Windows I had no such problem. Do I need to reconfigure the workstation which I am trying to send the data?

Cheers,

Uras
