Urgent pls: wlmscpfs error message with german umlauts

#1 Post by tglomb »

Hello,
I'm using 3.6.0 and a reader Konica Minolta Regius Model 210 has problems with it. The wlmscpfs is started with -cs1, all the files from the RIS contain (0008,0005) ISO_IR 100.
If there are no german umlauts in the name attrib, then the reader gets the entries. If there are umlauts in the name then it don't gets it, and there's an error message shown in the wlmscpfs window:
"Attribute specific character set found in the search mask, value is neither checked nor used for matching" .
I have no idea what to do and the Konica operator who installed the device also not..
Any help appreciated.
TIA, Thomas

Actually, the "error message" is a warning and can be ignored if the C-FIND request uses "ISO_IR 100" (Latin-1).

Maybe, you could post/upload the debug output of the "wlmscpfs" tool?

Hi, the Reader is configured to use Latin-1. I'll try to get a debug output.
