Error executing whole slide image - StoreSCU.exe

#1 Post by sriramg »

1) While executing StoreSCU.exe, following error message pop out

E: No presentation context for: (VLw) 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.77.1.6
E: Store SCU Failed: 0006:0208 DIMSE No valid Presentation Context ID

Please explain

2) To resolve it has been mentioned to use "Negotiation Configuration file". How can I use a configuration-file to add [ (0008,0016)(SOPClassUID : 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.77.1.6) ] for that presentation context?

Hi

ad 1) See hint in storescu documentation, i.e. look at the configuration file example coming with DCMTK (storescu.cfg).

ad 2) storescu only proposes a limited list of SOP Classes by default, it seems that either your storescu version is too old or it the SOP Class is not in the default list. Use 1) to correct that. Alternatively, you could try option -r on storescu, see documentation again.

Michael

Michael, you've probably meant option -R (--required)

The list of supported SOP classes is also available in the documentation, e.g. here for the current snapshot version.

To the OP: You could also give dcmsend a try, which is much easier to use compared to storescu because it has much less options...
