I am trying to use the precompiled static binary tcpsrv_e:

debian lenny

cpsrv.cfg:
[Server]
Port = 27122
ServerAETitle = AE_HP_PAPIER

tcpsrv_e -c /etc/tcpsrv.cfg
cannot establish central server port, sorry.

strace tcpsrv_e -c /etc/tcpsrv.cfg gives:
bind(6, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(10000), sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}, 16) = -1 EADDRINUSE (Address already in use)

Any hints?

regards
rudo

This is the number of the message port which is used for interprocess communication, see option --message-port.

Thank you for answering.

A small hint in the error message would be very fine:
cannot establish central server port. Message port 10000 already used, sorry.

Thank you for the hint on the error message. I put down a note to our internal to-do list ...
