How can I convert MPEG or AVI to DICOM multiframe?

Hi,

we do not have a tool for that. However, it is not that difficult once you have the video correctly encoded as MPEG 2 or MPEG 4. Look at part 5 of the DICOM standard how to integrate the video streams in DICOM. Also checkout the MPEG2 and MPEG4 supplements on this page which were used to introduce those features into DICOM.

Thank you for your interesting. I read the part of mpeg and i knew the transfer syntax to use and the tags and its values. But how to convert MPEG to DICOM multiframe using DCMTK?

Muhammad,

as I said, we do not have a tool for that. Extract frame for frame from the MPEG, select the type of object (IOD) that you like to fill, insert every frame, fill in all tag values -- done.
