Ask for a help:about installing DCMTK

I have downloaded the DCMTK toolkit(3.5.4) and the CMAKE (2.2.3) ,and I took the steps as the CMAKE install file told me,but I didnot find the .lib and .h files from the DCMTK lib dictionary,Could anyone help me?

Any help will be highly appreciated!

Read the INSTALL file that is shipped with the DCMTK package and follow the instructions on how to compile the toolkit.
