Why the negotiateAssociation can not successful in dcmprscu?

#1 Post by Dragonfly »

In my application, I want to print a image on a AGFA printer from a PC.
Firstly, I create a Stored Print object by the tookit of dcmpsprt. And then I want to print the image by AGFA printer. But the negotiateAssociation can not be successful. Could you help me? thanks!

A bit more detail would be helpful. "Something did not work, what's wrong" is not really sufficient information to help you in any way. Run dcmprscu with the --dump mode and check the output which will provide a detailed log of the A-ASSOCIATE-RSP message returned by the AGFA printer.

I debug the codes of dcmtk-3.5.3. The association can not be created between the PC and the AGFA printer. When dcmprscu send the requestion of association to the printer, there is no response from the printer. I guess there are some error configrations in the file of dcmpstat.cfg. But I do not know how to modify it?

the parts of configuration in dcmpstat.cfg is following

[IHEFULL]
Aetitle = IHEFULL
Description = IHE Full Print SCP

Hi !

1 -Did you add [[COMMUNICATION]] at the top of your file ?
2- Are you sure that the printer is configured to receive connections from ANY AET ?

Lol ..These were my first troubles.

Regards

Nicolas
