storescp --fork faild on "No error, getpeername failed"

#1 Post by kamil »

Hi, when I tested storescp --fork feature, but it prompted me :

E: Receiving Association failed: 0006:031c TCP Initialization Error: No error, getpeername failed on socket 4.

cmd:
storescp -v --fork 104

version: dcmtk 3.6.0
OS : win7

Thank you!

Taking a look or googling around for "getpeername function (Windows)" would show you the solution ...
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... s.85).aspx
It seems you don't have a nameserver or your windows is not able to resolve the hostname to the connecting ip.

storescp --help would print the following line: -dhl --disable-host-lookup disable hostname lookup

storescp -v -dhl --fork 104 should avoid the error.
