GSPS Objects(arrow and angle)

#1 Post by angad »

Hi All,

I was searching in dcmtk source code, how to create this Compound Graphic Object. I am successfully able to create and read following presentation state(LINE/POLYLINE/CIRCLE/ELLIPSE/TEXT). For all such annotations, classes are already defined in dcmtk (DVPSGraphicObject or DVPSTextObject classes).

For compound graphic object , i am not able to find any classes....

Any sample code or idea, how to create / read "Angle Measurement" and "Draw Arrow" annotations using dcmtk .

Thanks in advance !!!!

Angad Nath

The dcmpstat module and its classes implement the former Supplement 33, i.e. there is no support for Compound Graphic Objects (yet).

Hi,

Thanks for quick reply.

Any idea in which release(or version) you guys are planning to provide this Compound Graphic Objects support.

Is this feature available in latest dcmtk snapshot?

If not, can you please suggest me any work around?

Thanks,
Angad Nath

No, there are currently no plans.

No, unfortunately not.

I guess you have to write your own classes or extend the existing ones ...

Btw, since we are quite often asked for adding certain features, I've written a short article on that.
