more then 2 dicom stations

hello
1.can dicomscope handle more then 2 dicom stations for dicom store
2.sometimes after log on the dicomscope the computer start beeping
(the sound the dicomscope makes when an image arrive)
and no image was sent to the dicomscope . how to turn this sound off

Re 1: Yes.
Re 2: You cannot switch this sound off. The sound is played whenever DICOMscope discoveres that some other process (i.e. the DICOM receiver, dcmpsrcv) has modified the index.dat file of the underlying image database. The problem you describe has not been reported before, and sounds like a locking or access control conflict in DICOMscope's database. Are you trying to send images from DICOMscope to itself? That is guaranteed to get you in trouble.
