Hmm strange, if I compile the original dmctk-3.5.4 it works (even with Win64/MSVS 2008). So I think Siemens changed something when releasing it together with XIP.

Thank you very much for your quick answer. Just one other thing for a better understanding: Is it generally the case that a imaging modality planning station queries actively the RIS for worklist items or does the station itself implement a server which waits for worklist items to be sent?
