Hi, I can't read images coming from a specific camera, sent from PACS to my storescp and then to the application. It does work when I directly send these images from PACS to the application. I tried to compare the dcmdumps between images that did and didn't went 'correctly' over storescp to my appli...

If you want to receivethe file in JPEG Baseline, use the configuration file for storescp to tell what exactly should be accepted (see file storescp.cfg in dcmnet/etc/ as an example). Or, for a quick try, use storescp --prefer-jpeg8 option to also accept JPEG Baseline. My config file is set in a way...

I've sent also to another storescp and the comparison of the dcmdump files shows threre is missing a lot.. Is it possible to ...

storing Dicom/ changing dicom file
Hi,
I was sending Dicom images to dcmtk (storescp), and it seems the size changed (sometimes) remarkable, so can anyone tell me why this happens? (Is it completing the Dicom fields...?) Or maybe some kind of compression??
Best regards,
Jan

Did you already try to explicitly specify the output directory (using option --output-directory)? This seems to works fine, at least if I send locally: when I send (using Filesender, MIRC) from localhost it works always fine... When I send from another host it only works after restarting the servic...

storescp running as a service
Hi, Anyone any experience with dcmtk running as a service? I created a service called 'storescp' with type REG_SZ and data C:\apps\temp\IN\storescp.exe 104 -fe ".dcm" -ss in When I send some dicom, I don 't get any error messages but neither do I see some images in C:\apps\temp\IN director...

Alternatively, you could use the following option (only available in the DCMTK snaphot):
What exactly do you mean with the DCMTK snapshot?
Thanks!
Code: Select all
-su --sort-on-study-uid [p]refix: string
sort studies using prefix p and the Study Instance UID
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm using storescp for receiving dicom images, and it works quite well... Except it truncates the .dcm extension...
Anyone an idea?
Regards,
Jan
