Re: Issue compiling snapshot 3.61_20140731

Yes, this is the real question sir. The story is that I discovered c++ with BCB4, with an easy layout editor for event-driven graphical objects. When I wanted to evolve, because of the lack of resources or examples for that IDE, one showed me MSCV and I thought about it it was too complex to create ...

Usage of OFLogger : 'logfile' does not name a type

Thank you for your nice idea. And I didn't know there was a "how to". Now, I tried to use it, but I get an error with the logfile and log objects : // DCMTK offis.de #include "dcmtk/config/osconfig.h" #include "dcmtk/dcmdata/dcistrmf.h" /* for class DcmInputFileStream *...

Re: Issue compiling snapshot 3.61_20140731

Thank you, I keep the advice. I started all over, but this time using CMake (Windows Msys/gcc toolchain). After some struggle, it compiled. All this mixture of paths, make, cmake, mingw32-make , mingw64 for 32 bits, configure script, ... this is completely confusing for someone that learned c++ with...

Re: Issue regarding compiling dcmtk 3.6.1_20140725 with gcc

Thank you for that search. I also initially found this information about intrin.h (with a light understanding of), this is why I comment it out from win32.h; Concerning my MinGW distribution, it's the "regular" one, installed with their downloader, 32 bits only. I don't know how you could ...

Re: Issue regarding compiling dcmtk 3.6.1_20140725 with gcc

You're right, there's a make.exe in /MinGW/Msys/1.0/bin, but also there's MinGW's one in /MinGW/bin/mingw32-make.exe !! Anyway after some trial I understood that :  it's no use to declare CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM as an environment variable for windows : it doesn't help in this case  I need t...

Re: Issue regarding compiling dcmtk 3.6.1_20140725 with gcc

Well... CMake with profile Msys issues errors that at first glance in google I'm not able to fix. CMake Error: CMake was unable to find a build program corresponding to "MSYS Makefiles". CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM is not set. You probably need to select a different build tool. CMake Error: CMake w...

Re: Issue regarding compiling dcmtk 3.6.1_20140725 with gcc

Thank you for helping.
I just don't know how to use CMake... I thought it was only aimed to prepare for MSVC ?
Is there somewhere a guide to use it for MinGw/Msys/gcc ?

Issue compiling snapshot 3.61_20140731

Hi gents, using git, I dowloaded what I suppose being the latest snapshot of dcmtk as of 31st July ("- Added check on valid "IMAGE" SOP Classes:" etc.). Simply doing this ... configure ; make all ... I get an error I thought it was formerly solved (include <iostream.h> vs. includ...

oh... of course, obviously. I should not try to compile so late at night...
Thank you.
Anyway, commenting the block didn't help me to compile.

Re: How to download DICOM image from PACS.

Hi, most of the time you cannot query a PACS if your calling AET (eventually AET/IP/port) is not declared in it.
And if your AET is declared, your capabilities might not be fully granted (e.g. be a SCU only, not Q&R authorized).
Cheers.

Re: Printing on Agfa Drystar Axys

OK it's one year ago, but if someone reads around here, this might help. The Axys is a mammo printer. Dmin=0.3 Dmax=3.7 reflection=10 illumination=4000 But don't forget to declare a profile for your calling AET in the configuration page of the DryStar (pwd protected). You must also precise in the DI...

Where the symbol DCMTK_LOG4CPLUS_HAVE_INTRIN_H is #defined ?

Hello gents, in [...]/oflog/config/windowsh.h, [...]/oflog/config/win32.h, and similarly in oflog/libsrc/pointer.cc there's this : #if defined (DCMTK_LOG4CPLUS_HAVE_INTRIN_H) #include <intrin.h> #endif At what moment DCMTK_LOG4CPLUS_HAVE_INTRIN_H is defined ? It seems it might be defined somewhere b...
