Re: mpps scu message length issue
Hi Marco, thank you! Yes, command length = The length of the command line I'm looking for a method to compose a shorter command line: I see that there are the "+f..." options: +f --read-file read file format or data set (default) +fo --read-file-only read file format only +f --read-dataset...

mpps scu message length issue
Hallo, attached can you find the message composed to send an N_SET via-mppscu: it's very very long as we opted for an extended notation and also for the fact that a huge amount of images can be produced during a single radiology study (CT). This leads to an error as the command length exceedes the m...

Re: SR INCLUDE statement
Ok, I got it!
The word INCLUDE in the DICOM standard doesn't correspond to a value type, it's simply a kind of placeholder.
In correspondence of the row marked with INCLUDE I have to nest the content of the TID I want to include by "indenting" it.
Thank you very much for precious help!

Re: SR INCLUDE statement
So, welcome to the beautiful world of "DICOM Structured Reporting"! You might want to read this very good book (even though it is a 20 years old): https://www.pixelmed.com/srbook.html Thank you, I've read a lot from Clunie but I missed that book ! ...you have to expand the content of the ...

Re: SR INCLUDE statement
A clarification: this is my first approach to SR. It's possible that some of my convictions/expectations are false.

Re: SR INCLUDE statement
Hello, thank you very much for your reply and the hint to check return values; i'll keep it in mind. Yes, row 1b it's optional, but it simply wants to be an example: there are many other cases in TID 10011 where it's mandatory to include sub templates. My question in short is: how can I include a su...

SR INCLUDE statement
Hello, dealing with CT Radiation Dose SR (http://dicom.nema.org/medical/dicom/current/output/chtml/part16/sect_CTRadiationDoseSRIODTemplates.html), I see the INCLUDE statement is required by the standard for example to include "Language of Content Item and Descendants" TID1204. In fact I c...

XRay Radiation Dose SR
Hello! I wonder if in the support section there's some documentation (code examples) about how to generate dose report structured report (ex: TID 10011. CT Radiation Dose). I found a section containing many examples (https://support.dcmtk.org/docs/src_mkreport.html) about SR generation, but no one r...

dcmsend and dcmmkdir progress
Hello! Using dcmsend and dcmmkdir tools (ver. 3.6.2) with options - respectively - "--scan-directories" and "--input-directory", they process more than one file at a time. What about a suitable method to get a progress of the ongoing operation based on the single file? The typica...

Re: dcmodify vs. "ISO_IR 192" character set
Hallo, after having checked my environment, I solved my issue by adding th following line code to my app: QTextCodec::setCodecForLocale(QTextCodec::codecForName("UTF-8")); In fact, I'm developping in the Qt framework and the problem was lying in the arguments list parsing performed by the ...
