Well, i'm only interested in pixel data, so meta data are unimportant. I would like to have sth like Matlab DicomWrite(), which is able to make some defaults and create valid dicom from any data. Has anyone such example ?

Thanks

minimum set od attributes

hi,

i'm trying to convert bitmap into DICOM file. I saw FAQ#34 but there is no enough of attributes in that sample. When i try to read my DICOM i have Missing Attribute status. What should I put additonally into dataset ?

Thanks

given code looks ok. In my opinion your problem is somewhere else. What about buffer var or way of dealing with buffer ?

pixel access methods - what is difference ?

Hi, As far as I know there are 2 ways of access to pixels: - DcmDataset->findAndGetUint16Array(DCM_PixelData, buff) - described as way to get "raw" pixels" - DicomImage->getOutputData - descibed as way to get "rendered" pixels. What is exact difference between these methods ?
