Re: DCMRECV: hierarchical structure
Thanks for the fast reply. ad A) Could you please tell me how much it would cost to realise another file structure? :?: ad B) Because I am using the "-xcs" Argument together with a VB6-application which creates the hirarchical file structure I can't use the --fork option. But it doesn't ma...

DCMRECV: hierarchical structure
2013/09/28 I compiled the latest snapshot of DCMTK and tried the new application DCMRECV.EXE which is very interesting because I looked for since a while. I worked with the STORESCP before and used to start a VB6-application which created a hierarchical file structure. But STORESCP can not deal with...

solved
In the meantime we could detect the problem: the public firewall had to be bypassed.

64 bit wlmscpfs
Hi, we changed from a WinXP system to Windows Server 2008 and face now the problem that wlmscpfs.exe is running as a process but does not respond to any modality. The process is running with administrator privileges. The setup is the same as before on the XP-system. Unfortunately I do not have a mac...

It seems to work
We use to stop and restart wlmscpfs every night. With the old version we had crashes everyday. Now after one week with the latest version wlmscpfs seems to work stable! Propably we may change the process in the future and do no more stop and restart wlmscpfs everyday.
Thanks
Thanks

Worklist hangs
We experience the same problems in a 7/24 h WinXP-environment. Therefore we tried to shut down the wlmscpfs every 24h but this did not work every day because the failure did pop up again some hours later.

storescp: --fork does not work together with -xcs
July 31 2008 After compiling the latest snapshot I tested StoreSCP and had to recognize that --fork seems to work but now -xcs does no more start an external program. I use the following command line: %progdir%\storescp --fork -uf -tos %TimeOut% -od "%imagedir%" -ss PA -xcs "%progdir...

Snapshots: Binaries are not included
Thanks for the answer. The snapshots do not include binaries. Therefore I had to install Visual Studio Express C++ 2008 and CMake first and was afterwards able to generate the *.exe-files. So I could learn many new things:-)

Compiled Version of patched "--fork" version of StoreSCP
Hi,
Unfortunately I am not familiar with C++ compilers but would like to use the version where "--fork" works. Is there any possibility to get the patched and compiled version for WinXP?
Thanks in advance

storescp and different modalities
We run storescp V 3.5.4 multiple times on the same windows XP-machine. Each modality uses his own port and storescp process to prevent interactions. We have now seen, that not all the sended images are received and stored in the directory. Round about half ofe the images get lost. We use the followi...

Thank and suggestions
Thanks for the advice which cured the symptoms.
Suggestion: Instead of "enable file rejection" as the default option I would prefer the "disable file rejection" to ensure backward compatibility.
Kind regards
Beat

Comparison of the two versions 3.5.3 and 3.5.4
Setting the verbose mode -v it is obvious that the modalities do correspond with the worklist but that the answer is not the same as with the old version. Therefore it seemed to the radiologists that the new worklist did not work: Verbose Mode Version 3.5.4 ... ============================= Determin...

WLMSCPFS 3.5.4 not working on a WIN2000 Server System
I replaced the older version 3.5.3 with the latest version 3.5.4 and rebooted the system. Unfortunately all the modalities do no more see the worklist server. No option was changed: d:\dicom\wlmscpfs.exe -cs1 -dfp C:\dicom\worklist 104 Any Idea what is wrong BTW: replacing the new file with the old ...

Worklist and Kodak CR950
Together with the example above and many more hours trying and hoping, the worklist is now installed and works. We had to add one more line: (0008,0050) SH [135577] (0010,0010) PN [Muster^Christine] # 2, 1 PatientsName (0010,0020) LO [560921] # 0, 0 PatientID (0010,0030) DA [19530215] # 0, 0 Patient...
