Hi, First of all: thanks AndreasKnopke, what you said makes perfect sense to me, but I still have some doubts... 1 - Should I use SopInstanceUID from the image to order images from multiple files? 2 - Using DCMTK, how should I procceed in order to obtain such information? Should I traverse DcmDatase...

Image-Grouping in Studies,Series and Ordering Multiple Files

Hi, I would like some help in grouping images from multiple files. I´ve already found out that using SERIES UID and STUDY UID I can find from which study and from which series each image is, if theres is only one series and study in each dicom file. My first problem is: when I have multiple files wi...

One more doubt now.

Hi, Firts of all, I must say thank you very much. You just guided me to what I was looking for... but as is life, it brought me more questions. How to - Help dealing with files.

Hi, It´s been some months I am using DCMTK. It has suited my needs so far, but my needs changed recently. I used to need only access to the images stored in a file and make some processing over it. Using DicomImage was good enough. Recently, though, I had the need to save images in Dicom format back...

Thanks

Thank you very much! You were absolutelly right. eFilm fooled me by remembering from wich directories to load the files from the same studies and series. Only after uninstalling it and deleting it´s installation directory I could verify you were absolutely right. Sorry for making all of those who re...

Hi again, Unfortunatelly the images are not in separeted files. In order to verify your hipothesis I created a directory and placed there the single file "brain_001.dcm" and opended the file with eFilm. In eFilm the "Im" button was enabled when I loaded the file and when I presse...

Doubt about DM2PNM

I used the DM2PNM with option +obt to read the file “brain_001.dcm”. It can be found in the compress file “dicom_images.zip”. This file is available in http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/loadFile.do?objectId=2762&ObjectType=File. I also used the program MRicro to visualize this ...
