dcmtk 3.5.4 with GCC 3.3 on Mac OS X

Hello there, the new dcmtk 3.5.4 compiles without any problems on Mac OS X using GCC 4.0. The previous dcmtk 3.5.3 compiled using GCC 3.3. When I try to compile 3.5.4 with GCC 3.3 instead instead of GCC 4.0, I get the following error: g++-3.3 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DNDEBUG -c -I. -I. -I../include -I../../...

Thanks Juergen, I will try to apply the patch and see if this works for me!

Cheers

Tag name lookup "problem"

Hello there, we recently wondered why the tag name lookup of dcmtk did not return the "correct" group/element of (0008,0008) for the ImageType tag, but instead a different private tag (0021,1010). We recently added private.dic to the builtin dictionary, and it seems that the there's a priv...

storescp.cfg and echoscu (Verification)

Hello there, we are using storesp (dcmtk 3.5.2) with the -xf option and a config file storescp.cfg (which is basically the default config file supplied with dcmtk 3.5.3). Now, when trying to use echoscu on this storescp, the association does not succeed with the message echoscu: No Acceptable Presen...
