Thank you. I'll do that. I've already gotten an evaluation license that expired in July. I'm planning on using dcmcheck as part of our software validation.

I would like to acquire a full license for DCMCHECK. I can't find where on the website to apply for one (or the cost). Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll hack the changes to dcmtk and see how much improvement there is. How to speed up writing of DICOM files?

We have a device that acquires images at 14 frames per second. When saving of images is on, the frame rate drops to 11 fps. Each image is saved in one DICOM file.
