Ok, I have catched it, a bit later but i have done it. I process the binary DICOM file created with de command findscu with the option -X.

Furthermore if there is no match no DICOM file is created.

Thanks

Sorry but i don't understand very well what you want to mean when say:

"you need to process the dataset returned - either in the textual dump format created by findscu by default, or by using the --extract command line option and processing the binary DICOM files created"

Evaluate if an study exists or not

Hello!!

I have a doubt, someone knows if the command findscu returns a value to evaluate if an study exists or not? This value will be evaluated by an script (bash, cmd, etc...).

I have the output but i don't know exactly how to evaluate it.

Retrieve an open an image

Hello everybody!

I have a doubt: I have done satisfactory the query/retrive from a PACS to my DICOM viewer, with the findscu and movescu commands. But what I want now is to retrieve the image and open it automatically.

How can i do that?

Thanks in advance

:)
