Re: Sort based on AE Title

I tried it at least with commands that don't have special characters at all.

Re: Sort based on AE Title

Hi Tullhead, I tried this on Windows now and I also see a problem. The same thing on linux (with mv instead of rename) works. The interpretation of the quotes in the -xcr argument seems to be the problem. I have to look at this in the debugger to see whether there is an easy fix (I will do this but ...

Re: sendEchoRequest anwers with an abort

Hi Horst, good that it works now :-) 1./ Does it make sense to create 2 instances of my DCmClient (one each for the wordlist and one for storage) or just one, but always reassign the network settings? It is up to you, both should work. Personally I would create two different classes for that (DcmWor...

Re: sendEchoRequest anwers with an abort

Hi Horst, sorry if this is obvious for you, but did you also check that hostname and port have meaningful values in the code, i.e. did you print them to check their values or insert "hard" values to make sure this is not the problem? It would be great if you could provide a minimal complete example ...

Re: Sort based on AE Title

Hi, storescp (which can receive DICOM objects via C-STORE from clients) has an option which can be configured to do what you want: Option --exec-on-reception allows one to execute a certain command line after having received and processed one DICOM object (through a C-STORE-RQ message). The command ...

Re: How to solve the cmake configure error since the dcmtk-3.6.2 to dcmtk-3.6.7? Thanks

Hi, i never saw this behaviour. Did you use the same build dir for the CMake 3.5.1 build? The only idea I had was that you were not allowed to write to the build directory (where DCMTK CMake files will create a file during the "Configure" step, and also later on on "Generate" of course). If it is re...

Re: sendEchoRequest anwers with an abort

Do you call

Code: Select all

setPeerHostName(<host>)
and

Code: Select all

setPeerPort(<port>)
somewhere?

Re: sendEchoRequest anwers with an abort

Hi Horst,

thank you for the details (I assume that DcmClient is derived from DcmSCU). I will have a look.

Best regards,
Michael

Re: sendEchoRequest anwers with an abort

Hi,

it looks like there was no connection at all, i.e. the server is not reachable (behind firewall, wrong IP/port, etc.). At least I think that such a problem would result in the same log.

Otherwise I have no idea what might be the problem.

Best regards,
Michael

Re: #define ssize_t long causes error with other library - how to proceed safely?

Hi, in DCMTK ssize_t is by definition of "long" has least 32 bit while in hdf5 it needs to be at least 64 bit wide (definition "long long"). So my impression is: tha if you only use the typedef from hdf5 I would not see a problem, and there should not be a problem (of course, if you compile on 32 bi...

Re: How to populate request MessageId when deriving from DcmScu

Hi,

yes, I understand, thanks for pointing me to the Move Originator Message ID which I did not have in mind.
I pushed the patch to our internal testing branch and it will be available the next time we forward this to master.

Thanks for contributing :)

Michael

Re: Video trasnfer syntax question

Hi,

Currently DCMTK knows nothing about video codecs (and their validity in DICOM) at all, so there are no checks available.

Maybe dciodvfy from Clunies dicom3tools checks them? I don't know.

Michael

Re: How to populate request MessageId when deriving from DcmScu

Hi Jøger,

Your assumption is correct - another assumption was that there is no need to manually choose a Message ID at all, what is your use case to do so?

Best regards,
Michael
