Re: Is it possible to use Query Retrieve Callback classes from a DcmSCP inherited class?

Hi,

since dcmqrdb-specific classes (like DcmQueryRetrieveMoveContext) and DcmSCP/DcmSCU have been developed separately (also in time), there have not been any efforts to make dcmqrdb classes re-usable. So I don't know any better way either.

Best regards,
Michael

Re: Is it possible to use Query Retrieve Callback classes from a DcmSCP inherited class?

Hi Abdallah, I am not sure what you mean by this: but I still need to search for the query dataset somehow. Do you mean the MOVE request, containing for example the Study and Series Instance UID to search for? That is provided in the reqDataset parameter in handleMOVEResponse(): virtual OFCondition ...

Re: dcmodify crash win10

Hi, Ok, I would try to get the quoting right no matter where the input comes from. Otherwise the windows command line interpreter might fail to parse the command line correctly. dcmodify should never crash so if you find a call that crashes repeatedly you can share it with me. Probably however, the ...

Re: dcmodify crash win10

Hi,

your quoting looks a bit weird when you use the -ma option. The safest way is to quote the full option value, i.e. instead of

Code: Select all

-ma "(0010,0032)="12:00:00
quote it like

Code: Select all

-ma "(0010,0032)=12:00:00"
This also applies to all other option values.

Michael

Re: dcmodify crash win10

Can you provide the commandline of the call?

Update: And maybe the DICOM file you use?

Re: dcmodify crash win10

Hi,

I did not see this behavior on my system so far. Do you have a call that always crashes or does even the same call only crash occasionally?

Michael

Great, happy that it worked. I could have stated the difference to EP_Representation more clearly.

Re: How to write DICOM file with Sint16 pixel representation

Hi, Integer Pixel Data always has data type OB or OW and the only methods that work on that are putAndInsertUint8() or. ..16 respectively. So you have to prepare your Sint16 array and insert it using putAndInsertUint16() by casting it to Uint16. In the end its just raw data and the reader must inter...

Re: findscu - E: Bad override key/path, or Data dictionary missing?

Yeah, I know it's a bit of a hack attempt, but I am using the same machine for both dcmtk and the other application. So I have the same IP, and with movescu I can specify my AE and port. So presumably, if nothing else, I could shut down my other application and then be able to use movescu with the ...

Re: findscu - E: Bad override key/path, or Data dictionary missing?

Hi, not sure if I understand the question correctly, but you cannot re-use the same AE Title for another tool on the same system, or on any system. The PACS has a lookup table for destination AE Titles, so if you tell the PACS to send to AE title "AE_A" (for example), it looks into the lookup table,...

Re: How to write tag to multiframe

Hi,

it took me some time but look at the meaning of the 4th parameter of findAndGetSequence() :-) As for example in:

Code: Select all

if (item->findAndGetSequence(DCM_CTExposureSequence, dcmSqCTExposure, true, true).good())

Re: findscu - E: Bad override key/path, or Data dictionary missing?

Hi, What happens if you remove -k StudyInstanceUID? If the next -k option with QueryRetieveLevel triggers the same error, maybe the dictionary is not loaded? Try using the tag numbers instead of tag names and see whether the problem goes away. If its the dictionary issue, set DCMDICTPATH environment...

Re: Endianess problem with dcmseg_roundtrip test

Hi alciregi,

I added the swap in a corresponding way in DCMTK -- if it goes through the internal testing tonight, I'll publish the fix to master (and let you know).

Best,
Michael
