Re: findscu - E: Bad override key/path, or Data dictionary missing?

Yeah, I know it's a bit of a hack attempt, but I am using the same machine for both dcmtk and the other application. So I have the same IP, and with movescu I can specify my AE and port. So presumably, if nothing else, I could shut down my other application and then be able to use movescu with the ...

Re: findscu - E: Bad override key/path, or Data dictionary missing?

Hi, not sure if I understand the question correctly, but you cannot re-use the same AE Title for another tool on the same system, or on any system. The PACS has a lookup table for destination AE Titles, so if you tell the PACS to send to AE title "AE_A" (for example), it looks into the lookup table,...

Re: How to write tag to multiframe

Hi,

it took me some time but look at the meaning of the 4th parameter of findAndGetSequence() :-) As for example in:

Code: Select all

if (item->findAndGetSequence(DCM_CTExposureSequence, dcmSqCTExposure, true, true).good())

Re: findscu - E: Bad override key/path, or Data dictionary missing?

Hi, What happens if you remove -k StudyInstanceUID? If the next -k option with QueryRetieveLevel triggers the same error, maybe the dictionary is not loaded? Try using the tag numbers instead of tag names and see whether the problem goes away. If its the dictionary issue, set DCMDICTPATH environment...

Hi, the related commits are now public on DCMTK master. It would be great if you could try this out in the next days.

Thank you,

Re: Endianess problem with dcmseg_roundtrip test

Hi alciregi,

I added the swap in a corresponding way in DCMTK -- if it goes through the internal testing tonight, I'll publish the fix to master (and let you know).

Best,
Michael

Re: Modality worklist wlmscpfs inconsistent results

Hi, the installation as you performed it should be fine. Since waiting in wlmscpfs works fine (according to your log) I can see no other problem than the dump2dcm call. Do you accidentially re-use file names or something like this? Let me know the results of your extra delay you wanted to try out. B...

Re: Modality worklist wlmscpfs inconsistent results

Hi, I changed the sleep implementation that so that sleeping a given amount of seconds is guaranteed. The change is not yet visible in the public DCMTK (but will in a few days). I have built a windows binary using Visual Studio 2017 (together two DLLs) that you can download from here . I hope it wor...

Re: MPPS development with pydicom / pynetdicom, testing with DVTk, general questions

Hi,

yes, just mail to the address provided on the website. Note, however, that the tool does not come with test data (if I remember correctly, one or two MPPS objects are included for tryout).

Best,
Michael

Re: Reading compressed DICOM JPEG2K images

Hi,

yes, you can read it like any other DICOM file using DCMTKs dcmdata library (this is for example, what also the dcmdump does). Here is a short code example in the dcmdata documentation start page.

Michael

Re: MPPS development with pydicom / pynetdicom, testing with DVTk, general questions

I guess that instead of using DVTk I could use dcmtk mppsscu to create some test scripts to do some testing with dcmtk from the command line or from a script directly also ? There is no free mpssscu tool in DCMTK, but OFFIS sells it, if you're interested, see this page for details and contact . Bes...

Re: Modality worklist wlmscpfs inconsistent results

Hi, it actually sounds like wlmscpfs tries to read incompletely written files. I understand that you use "--sleep-before 5" to avoid that. Assuming that you stay below 5 seconds generating the worklist responses after the query arrives, my guess is that the sleep routine internally called by wlmscpf...
