convert multiimage dicom file to avi

I wonder if there is a command line tool or a ocx to convert a multiimage dicom file (from my ge Ultrasound) to an avi file

We do have a command line tool (dcm2avi) that does exactly what you want. However, this tool is not available for free download. Please contact us via email (dicom/at/offis/dot/de) for details.
