dates each frame was taken

Is there a way to determine the dates or the order in which the frames within a DCM image were taken? I'm assuming sequential order (frame 0 to n) might not necessarily be the order in which the images were taken.

I see there are a number of dates to get from the dcm file itself, but these seem to apply to the dcm as a whole and not the individual images within.
