DCMCJPEG creates an empty basic offset table

#1 Post by bwiklak »

Hi,
I use DCMCJPEG v2.0.0
options +fs 1 +ot

It creates an empty basic offset table for multiframe image. DCMCRLE works ok in this case.[/u]

Do you mean "dcmcjpeg" from DCMTK 3.5.4 (or 3.5.5)? There is no such thing as "DCMCJPEG v2.0.0". Anyway, I can confirm that there seems to be an issue with the offset table. Therefore, I added a note to our internal to-do list.

http://support.dcmtk.org/docs/dcmcjpeg.html

C:\Documents and Settings\Bartek>dcmcjpeg
$dcmtk: dcmcjpeg v2.0.0 2008-06-01 $

dcmcjpeg: Encode DICOM file to JPEG transfer syntax
usage: dcmcjpeg [options] dcmfile-in dcmfile-out

The one from 3.5.4 shows the same message but date is year 2005, version v2.0.0 .

Thanks again for the report. I think I have fixed this issue which was apparently only related to the "true lossless" mode.
