StoreSCU cann't send dicom file with JPEG lossless compressi

hi, dcmtk experts:

why StoreSCU cann't send 8 bit grayscale dicom file with JPEG lossless compression?

i tried with storescu send non-compression dicom file, just fine, but when i send the 8 bit grayscale dicom file with JPEG lossless compression, it wouldn't do:

I: Requesting Association
I: Association Accepted (Max Send PDV: 16372)
I: Sending file: d:1.dcm
I: Transfer Syntax: JPEGLossless:Non-hierarchical-1stOrderPrediction -> LittleEndianExplicit

XMIT: W: DIMSE Warning: (STORESCU,ANY-SCP): sendMessage: unable to convert dataset from 'JPEG Lossless, Non-hierarchical, 1st Order Prediction' transfer syntax to 'Little Endian Explicit'

E: 0006:020e DIMSE Failed to send message
E: Store SCU Failed: 0006:020e DIMSE Failed to send message
I: Aborting Association

i tried all the option -xs, -xi, -xt, etc. the message is the same.
but when i tried the uncompressed dicom file, it works fine. what should i do for that?

as for the command line options,it is very confusing that, because when i send a dicom file to the server, usually i don't know with what transfer syntext the file used to compression or don't have compression at all, so how to choose that option at the commandline for that?

just using -xs should do
Also be sure that the receiver accepts JPEG Lossless!

but what i mean is, sometimes, i don't know about the details of the dicom file i was going to send... so i don't know how to set those parameters.


if i know before hand that, the dicom file was compressed with jpeg lossless, i then can choose proper option.. but most of time, i don't know about the details, and i have to write a generalized program which can send all sorts of dicom files. then what can i do to with proper option with storeSCU?
