how to use dcmsign simplely??

I want to know how the dcmsign to work? Becase the help's text is short and I can't understand it correctly.
For example ,if I want to sign a file ?What should I to use dcmsign.exe?

Hi,

A short example for signing a origin.dcm with Base RSA Digital Signature Profile:

Code: Select all

dcmsign --sign private.key signerCert.crt --profile-base origin.dcm signeddcm.dcm

A short example for verifying a signed DICOM file :

Code: Select all

dcmsign signeddcm.dcm

Of course you should create private.key and signerCert.crt by OpenSSL or other PKI tool before using dcmsign.

You must learn the PKI knowledge and DICOM Part 15 well before using dcmsign. There are two articles describing how to generate a SSL certificate with private key.

I have finished the simple work,Do this job ,I just want to know the dcmsign.
I telled this work to my teacher ,He telled me that it isn't useful in our country now .So he didn't surport my topic .
I know it work to sign dicom image,and isn't it useful in hospital? And if it isn't convenience in English.Can we use Chinese? and may i have you Email?
