hi,

Where can i find the file dcm2xml.exe? do i need to build it using CMake? i do see dcm2xml.bat but not exe.

Can anyone help me out.

Either build the dcm2xml.exe from source (see INSTALL file) or download the binary package of the previous DCMTK release 3.5.4. I'm not aware of any dcm2xml.bat file.

Jorg, thanks so much for the binary package. i'm able to use and convert the DICOM's to XML's successfully.

I hope you might help me with this one too.

For receiving the DICOM Files onto my workstation from the machine i'm using the storescp application command. Here is the command i'm using

storescp -xcr "ECSD_OBUS" -od "C:\IU22-DICOM" 104

AE Title: ECSD_OBUS
Output Directory: C:\IU22-DICOM
Port: 104.

Command executes properly but i don't see the DICOM files in that output folder. Any ideas?

What is the verbose/debug output?

i don't see any DICOM files getting stored in that folder.

i see that service is running in the processes, other than that nothing else happens.

any other way to test it.

If there is no output to the console in verbose/debug mode, obviously nothing has happened. Are you sure that the port number and IP address on the sender side are configured correctly?

Try to verify the connection using the DICOM ping (Verification SOP Class / C-ECHO) from the storage SCU system.

Will i receive DICOM Files if i'm running only storescp on my workstation. I'm not executing storescu on my workstation.

Of course, this also depends on the configuration of the storage SCU (i.e. the sender), and that was my main question in the previous posting.
