image position information

#1 Post by JBO »

Hi everyone,

I would like to be able to display in the same window different DX images.
The images will be displayed thanks to their position.

I explain: for exemple I have an image of the head of the patient and one of the shoulders. I would like to display the second image below the first one.

To do that, I have check the different position information of DX images and the only one I have is FOV Origin.

So, it isn't enough to be able to diplay correctly images.

Is there another solution to do that?

thanks in advance

Where exactly is the DCMTK aspect in your question? Anyway, I don't think that you can get exact coordinates from a DX image - see DICOM part 3 for details.
