Why is getFloat64Vector not exposed?

I was wondering why getFloat64Vector isn't exposed to as a public function (well, findAndGetFloat64Vector then of course, but you catch my drift I think). It seems like a nice addition, and it could work on DS and on FD VRs.

DcmDecimalString::getFloat64Vector() is public. Are you talking about the helper functions findAndGetXXX() in DcmItem?
