converting jpegls lossy with dcml2pnm.exe

#1 Post by Bojan »

I am getting a following error when I try to convert an image with JPEGLSLossy transfer syntax:

Code: Select all

D: $dcmtk: dcml2pnm v3.6.0 2011-01-06 $
D:
I: reading DICOM file: ct_jpegls_lossly.dcm
D: DcmItem::checkTransferSyntax() TransferSyntax="Little Endian Explicit"
I: preparing pixel data
D: transfer syntax of DICOM dataset: JPEG-LS Lossy (Near-lossless) (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.81)
I: Current Frame Number: 0
E: can't change to unencapsulated representation for pixel data
D: reading uncompressed pixel data completely into memory
D: setting number of pixels to be processed (PixelCount) to: 0
E: can't convert input pixel data, probably unsupported compression
F: Invalid DICOM image
It's a CT Image created by coverting from LittleEndinanExpliting to JPEGLSLossy with dcmcjpls.exe

Is these something obvious that I am missing. If not, how can I debug this problem?

Hmmm.... this is surprising. It might help if you could send a sample image showing this problem to dicom <at> offis <dot> de. Thanks.
