Does C-MOVE support query by 0008,103E (SeriesDescription)?

Hi all,
I am developping a dose stat application. My application need to retrieve dose info series from PACS.
Now, I am using "query by study" to retrieve all dicom files (images and dose info) for a study, that is time-costing. I only want dose info series. All dose info series will have a series description of "Dose Info" in my hospital's PACS.
So I wanna know whether C-MOVE support query by 0008,103E (SeriesDescription)? Thus, I can query and retrieve like this: -k (00018, 103E) = "Dose Info".

Hi,

no, MOVE operations require UIDs to retrieve the related objects. See DICOM standard part 4. Or, maybe get the basics from reading the DCMTK PACS networking tutorial.
