Store SCU with IP and port number

Hello everybody,

Is it possible to specify in my Store SCU Application a (local) port number to send the DICOM Image through?

I don't mean the peer IP and the port number, but to specify a local (Windows System) port to use.

If you are referring to another process listening on an IPv4 port, that's what sending to localhost is intended for.
You cannot send to a named pipe, unnamed pipe or other system-local IPC mechanism because the DICOM network protocol is only defined for TCP/IP.
