Hi,
the tutorial page you quoted says it all. The code retrieves the images. Please make sure you read the introductory text of the page. If this does not help, read the DCMTK PACS debugging tutorial.
Best,
Michael

Re: DcmSCU example program
The client does not receive the images if you send a MOVE request, but instead the server you have to start at the same time, e.g. storescp. I think it's explained in the tutorial I quoted. The storescp documentation tells you how to set the output directory (-od), or calling storescp --help.

Re: DcmSCU example program
For receiving the images from conquest dicom server, how can we start an additional storage server using storescp in the DcmSCU example?

Re: DcmSCU example program
As said, try storescp --help to see a short help page. Or read the manual online. Shortest version: storescp 104 starts the tool listening on port 104.
