wlmscpfs.exe and sleep

#1 Post by rullbandspelare »

Hi!
Q: Can I get wlmscpfs.exe to sleep after it gets the C-Find request but before the .wl files are processed?

When a DMWL SCU is making a c-find I want to process the patientID in the background to be able to do some automatic searches in other remote databases to create a .wl from.
And then in the same association, when the sleep is over, be able to present the result.

There are two sleep flags for wlmscpfs.exe. But i do not think they do what (not sure of the purpose of those?)
My guess is that I have to make my own "--sleep-before" and compile?
--sleep-after s]econds: integer
sleep s seconds after find (default: 0)
--sleep-during s]econds: integer
sleep s seconds during find (default: 0)

As far as I remember, the existing --sleep-xxx options were introduced as part of the first public demonstration back in 1996, when the name of this tool (written in C at that time) was "wlistctn". And, yes, if you need a "--sleep-before" option this would require changes to the source code.
