C-MOVE Response (Refused: OutOfResourcesSubOperations)

#1 Post by kumarm »

Hello J. Riesmeier,

I am running PACS server dcmqrscp.exe on LINUX machine and DICOM receiver 'storescp.exe' on Windows machine. C-FIND request from Windows machine to Linux machine successfully shows the list patient records. When I send the C-MOVE request from Windows machine, I am getting following errors messages

dcmtk.dcmnet ; Sending C-MOVE Request (MsgID 1)
dcmtk.dcmnet ; Received C-MOVE Response (Refused: OutOfResourcesSubOperations)
dcmtk.dcmnet ; Status is 0xa702 (unknown)
dcmtk.dcmnet ; Will not wait for further C-MOVE responses
dcmtk.dcmnet ; Releasing Association

Could you pls. tell me the reason for the error message Refused: OutOfResourcesSubOperations. Is there an issue with network configuration on Linux machine where PACS server 'dcmqrscp.exe' is running or Is it the issue with 'storescp.exe' running on Windows machine.

Commandline to run storescp on Windows

storescp.exe -lc storescp_log4cplus.cfg -dhl -od "%DICOM_DATAIN%" -aet %DICOM_AET% %DICOM_PORT%

Commandline to run dcmqrscp on Linux

./dcmqrscp -c dcmqrscp.cfg -lc dcm_log4cplus.cfg

Thanks
Manoj

Hi,

An error during MOVE that refers to sub operations always refers to a problem on the second connection, i.e. the connection the PACS is starting to the storage server in order to send the images. Probably the storage server is behind a firewall, not configured correctly in the PACS (e.g. wrong port or IP address), which is in your case the dcmqrscp config file.

Best regards,
Michael
