Hi,

no there is no way to do this with a tool from the public DCMTK.

There is a commercial tool that is sold by OFFIS and/or ICSMED that is able to convert DICOM multi-frame images to video. It is called dcm2avi. An evaluation version can be requested here. I am not sure whether it works on latest Windows versions but at least the evaluation is still available, just give it a try.

Best regards,
Michael

It most definitely should, we're maintaining it together with the public DCMTK.

What do you mean by "DICOM file into video"? Do you want to convert a DICOM file (e.g. Video Endoscopic Image) to a standard video format (such as MPEG)?

Apart from the (commercial) Windows tool "dcm2avi", there is no ready to use conversion tool for "DICOM multi-frame image to standard video format". Of course, it would be possible to develop such a tool (based on the DCMTK) but please note that licensing issues have to be solved, too (e.g. the use of MPEG et al. might not be free of charge).

Hello Anees,

I have worked on a similar requirement to create AVI files from endoscopy images and it is done by using DCMTK and https://imagemagick.org/index.php.
