Enhancement to dcmsend or storescu

I really love dcmsend's simplicity and easiness to use. I wonder if it is possible to add +rn feature as in storescu to it which is really helpful when sending enormous DCM files? Or maybe add -ma feature as in dcmsend to storescu?

Personally, I am not a big fan of storescu's --rename-file feature. If the output of dcmsend's --create-report-file option is not sufficient for your purposes, one could think of creating a separate text file that contains the filenames of the DICOM files that could not be transferred.
