XRay Radiation Dose SR

#1 Post by ilariari »

Hello!
I wonder if in the support section there's some documentation (code examples) about how to generate dose report structured report (ex: TID 10011. CT Radiation Dose).
I found a section containing many examples (https://support.dcmtk.org/docs/src_mkreport.html) about SR generation, but no one referred to RDSR.
Have an outline could be very useful in the activity startup.

Thank you very much for your kind attention.
Ilaria

I'm the author of DCMTK's SR implementation but I am not aware of any example for this specific SR template (*). Of course, creating a document tree based on TID 10011 should be straight forward (similar to other SR templates). In addition to the source code of "mkreport.cc", I would also recommend to have look at the various test cases in "dcmsr/tests", e.g. this one. If I were you, I would also check the classes in "dcmsr/cmr" and create my own SR template classes (see e.g. this class for an implementation of TID 1500).

(*) In fact, there is no example for this template since: a) no one implemented it or b) no one published it or c) no one paid me for writing it ;-) Seriously, the implementation of TID 1500 et al. has been sponsored by a U.S. research project called QIICR. Maybe, this would be an option for you. Also see this blog posting: https://blog.jriesmeier.com/2013/03/how ... the-dcmtk/
