MacOS with M1 processor

#1 Post by leandro.nrs »

I installed the latest version (HEAD-7ebfa2c) with brew install dcmtk --HEAD, however it presents the error:

dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libdcmdata.16.dylib
Referenced from: /opt/homebrew/bin/dcmdump
Reason: image not found

the error is displayed in all the options I tested

macOS BIG SUR - 11.3 (20E232)
chip Apple M1

Our team currently has no access to a Mac with M1 processor, so we cannot reproduce the issue. The error report seems to indicate that the dcmdata library (which is a part of DCMTK) was either not correctly compiled or not correctly installed.

I installed it with homebrew as per the documentation and it gives this error, with the binary files I tested now and it worked.

would it be a problem when installing with homebrew?
