I see in the options in Ms Visual C++ 6.0 a parameter that caused one of my deployed computer not being able to launch storescp process :
the parameter is : Stack allocations -> reserve.
An hexadecimal value is there. When I recompile without this parameter, all happens correctly on target computer, if i set back this value, target computer cannot launch storescp process.
I cannot figure out what kind of problem could result of not reserving the stack at given address...
Is this parameter really mandatory?
Should I expect crashes to happen?
Thanks by advance

This question should better be addressed to a MSVC specific knowledge base such as MSDN. I do not think that we have chosen this value for any specific reason - this is just the default setting generated by CMake.I cannot figure out what kind of problem could result of not reserving the stack at given address...

Hello,
This is typically an vc++ issue and not dcmtk.
Please have a look on http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/8cxs58a6.aspx
