Unable to access an archive when the peer is not set to ANY in AETable in imagectn.cfg

#1 Post by Jyoti »

Hi,

I am not able to access an archive if I set the peer to one of the entries defined in the hostTable in the file imagectn.cfg. My hostTable definition looks fine. If I set the peer to ANY for the same archive, I am able to access it. What could be wrong here?

Below is an abstract from my imagectn.cfg:

HostTable BEGIN
share = (MY_SHARE, don, 5678)
HostTable END

VendorTable BEGIN
"My Share" = share
VendorTable END

AETable BEGIN
MY_SHARE F:\dcmtk\dicom\db\MY_SHARE R (200, 1024mb) share
AETable END

Is the hostname "don" really known to the machine where imagectn runs on?

Yes infact don is the same machine on which imagectn is running. I am trying to run the query from the same machine on which imagectn is running.

Did you specify calling and called AE Title accordingly for your Q/R SCU?
