movescu parameters

#1 Post by celine18 »

hello!!

I tried the movescu to take some images from a pacs, but it seems that I am missing a parameter...
Here is my command:

movescu -S -k 0008,0052=STUDY -k 0010,0010=BEAUFIX -k 0020,000d=1.2.840.99999.5.1.9999.1.001 xx.xxx.x.xxx 1115 -aec xxx_SCP

Another question: What should I expect if it works ??

Thanks ...!!

Actually you should remove "-k 0010,0010=BEAUFIX" from the command line. Also make sure that the image archive knows where to send the images to - by default movescu asks the image archive to send to MOVESCU, and the image archive must be configured to resolve this symbolic name (application entity title) into the IP address of your computer and the port number under which movescu accepts the incoming images (default is 104, unless you change this with the --port command line option).
If everything works, expect images to arrive and to be stored as files in the current directory. If you run movescu with the -v (--verbose) command line option, some useful information about what is currently happening will be displayed.

Hello,

If I well understood, the movescu is enough to store images in the current directory? I don't need to use storeSCP?

Thanks for those precious information !!

You don't need to use StoreSCP.
