possible bug - Padding vs. element size on VM>1

#1 Post by abeck »

We are using DCMcheck 2.0.0 and have a file where we get a warning on the IOP tag (0020,0037)

Error E-14: Value Length too large
Affected length: 17 bytes, should be 16 bytes maximum for DS
Affected value: "0.24855691764461 "

Mind the space at the end of the value. The file has the IOP values given with 16 digits each, plus 5 separators, leading to odd total length, which IMHO required one padding character.

DCMcheck seems to count this padding as belonging to the last value.

Is this a bug, or is my interpretation wrong?

Thank you for the report. This is a known issue which will be fixed for the next release.
