Help---compilation

#1 Post by candy »

Hi,I followed the user manual of DICOMscope 3.5.1,as it says,
Tool to unzip the source code (e. g. WinZIP, available from http://www.winzip.com/)
C++ Compiler with support for C++ templates: tested successfully with MS Visual C++ 5.0 and 6.0
OpenSSL 0.9.6a (other versions might also work), available from http://www.openssl.org/
Java 2 SDK v1.3 or newer, available from http://java.sun.com/j2se/

I downloaded the OpenSSL 0.9.6a ,j2sdk-1_5_0-beta-windows-i586(because the Java 2 SDK v1.3 that I didn't find).I use vv6.0 to compile dcmtk350,but with such error which I dosen't understand:

Compiling...
sicert.cxx
D:\dicom\dcmtk350(1)\dcmtk\dcmsign\libsrc\sicert.cxx(166) :
error C2664: 'd2i_X509' : cannot convert parameter 2 from 'unsigned char ** ' to 'const unsigned char ** ' Conversion loses qualifiers
Error executing cl.exe.

dcmsign.lib - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

I think this is the main problem that the compilation didn't pass.
Could you tell me how to solve it?

Are you sure that you are using the correct version of DCMTK? Please note that DICOMscope 3.5.0 is pretty old ...
